The thrill of the hunt

26 Jul

I’ve been on the hunt for a bedside table for hmmmm about a year. Of course, I rarely buy new from a furniture store. That’s just not me!

Saw a garage sale sign on my way home from work and got this for $10. It’s pretty perfect if you ask me! I just wish it was a pair!

The 6 page Target ad in the April 2013 Country Living is just beautiful.

Sorry for the wacky iPhone pic, but I was overwhelmed!

This is on the floor in my upstairs hallway. I should probably remove it, but it makes me smile.

Our puppy requires us to keep our shoes up high so they don’t get eaten.

She’s too cute to get mad at.

We inherited some furniture with this house. I think this cabinet is useful even though it’s not all that attractive.

This is what the cabinet started to look like.

It made my eye twitch!

Quick organization makeover.

I have other plans for this cabinet to make it cuter, bit this is how it will have to look for now.

Martha Stewart is a grandma!  Baby girl Jude Stewart :O)

I’m a fan of both Martha and her daughter Alexis.  Two very different women.

It was a long road for this little baby to come into the world.  Happiness to Alexis and Jude.

The March issue of Country Living provided me with all sorts of inspiration, but Kolene Spicher’s beautiful home and story had a particularly positive effect on me.  Here are some of the shots that I loved most.  Keep in mind that these are most of the photos in the article…I had a hard time narrowing down!
